Overview
As an Associate in Global Export & Agency Finance, you will support origination and execution of ECA-backed financing for clients worldwide from Madrid. You work closely with clients, ECAs, and internal teams to structure tailored solutions and advance deal execution through approval milestones. The role offers growth toward origination or structuring as you gain exposure to diverse financing structures. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and mentор junior team members, contributing to a collaborative, high-performance culture.

ResponsabilidadesSupport origination and execution of ECA-covered financing transactions globallyContribute to business development, including client pitches and opportunity screeningCoordinate internal processes across Risk, Legal, Compliance, E&S, Syndication, Middle Office, and Project FinancePrepare high-quality marketing, credit, and internal materials with strong analytical contentManage transaction execution through approval stages (business committees, Risk approvals, legal sign-off)Participate in structuring and documentation phases focusing on core finance documents and ECA policiesContribute to developing value-added financing solutions and more complex structuresSupport and mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharingSupport a flexible, dynamic, team-oriented working culture
Requisitos principalesMinimum 4 years of experience in advisory and/or lending roles within Structured Finance, Project Finance and/or Export FinanceSolid understanding of Export Finance and/or non-recourse financing structures and related legal frameworksBachelorEnglish mandatory; Spanish, French and German and/or other considered a plusStrong structured finance fundamentals and ability to assess transaction risksAbility to analyse and address contractual, commercial and technical issuesStrong interdisciplinary skills across financing, structuring and documentationExcellent PowerPoint and presentation skillsFinancial modelling skills are an advantageStrong communication, organisational and process management skillsProactive and hands-on attitude with initiative in a demanding environmentStrong communicationOrganisational skillsProcess managementStrong structured finance fundamentalsRisk assessment of transactionsContractual and technical issue analysis
