Descripción de la vacanteALOHAS isn't just a footwear brand --- we're proving fashion can be made differently. Every pair is produced on demand, so we only make what's truly wanted, cutting overproduction and waste out of the equation from day one. Working at ALOHAS means being part of the growth of a fast-moving Spanish start-up, with a young, creative team that communicates fast and works with real energy. It's demanding --- but the kind of demanding that teaches you something new every week, in an environment where sustainability isn't a policy, it's just how we live. THE ROLE At ALOHAS we're building an AI-native company. Technology isn't a support function --- it's the foundation of how the whole business runs: product, brand, growth, finance and 're hiring our first full-time CTO to own our technology end to end --- vision, architecture, the platforms that run the business (Shopify, Odoo, data, AI agents) and the team that builds them. We care far more about how you think, build and lead than about your title. If you've been a Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Director, or Staff/Principal Engineer at a high-growth product company (marketplace, Saa S, e-commerce) and you're ready to own technology end to end and make it yours --- this is for you. It's a high-ownership role: you set the direction and you're accountable for delivery, leading a lean internal team plus our AI Software Crafter and specialized partners. You'll work hand in hand with the CEO and COO (who builds business logic hands-on with AI tools) and keep ALOHAS at the frontier of an AI-native way of CHALLENGES. Set the technical vision & architecture. Own a clean, modular architecture for a multi-entity, cross-border business (EU/UK/US). Make the calls on build vs. buy vs. partner, and keep complexity low. Go deep on AI-native. Own the AI agent strategy and orchestration (LLMs, MCP, tool integrations). Turn experiments into production systems that move real business metrics --- not demos. Own the platform that runs the business. Shopify (e-commerce, retail, marketplace), the B2 B/wholesale stack, and their integration with Odoo ERP, data and logistics --- a genuinely omnichannel, event-driven system. Make data a strategic asset. A reliable, centralized data platform (GCP/Big Query, modern ETL) feeding analytics and decisions across B2 C, B2 B and Retail. Build and lead the team. Structure and grow a small, high-leverage engineering team; enable the AI Software Crafter and partners; set a delivery-driven culture with light, effective governance (standards, testing, CI/CD, sensible tech-debt management). YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF Have led engineering at a high-growth product company --- as a Senior EM / Eng Director / Staff+ --- and are ready to own technology end to end. Are hands-on and modern: cloud-native (GCP ideally), API-first / event-driven systems, solid data architecture --- you still get into the details. Have real, recent AI/LLM experience --- agents, RAG, LLMs in production --- not just an interest in it. This is the single most important thing. Think product-first: you optimize for user and business impact, not tech for its own sake. Scale through others: you build, but you also grow people and orchestrate partners. Fashion / retail / e-commerce and Shopify / ERP exposure is a strong plus (not a hard requirement). Are pragmatic and frugal --- clarity over complexity, simplicity and resilience over based in Barcelona (hybrid) and fluent in English and Spanish. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE A unified, reliable stack across B2 C, B2 B and Retail, with clean Shopify ERP finance/logistics genuinely embedded in how the business operates --- agents and automations delivering measurable impact. Trustworthy, automated data flows powering decisions. A small, high-performing team shipping steadily, with low tech debt and transparent tech costs. ALOHAS recognized as a digitally mature, data-driven, AI-native global brand. WAYS OF WORKING Full-time, hybrid, with regular presence at our office in Barcelona. Close, ongoing collaboration with the CEO, the COO and the AI Software Crafter. Impact-driven, with a strong bias toward enablement over control. BENEFITS Freedom, responsibility & trust --- real autonomy and ownership. Flexible working hours Summer intensive hours (July & August) A company with soul: sustainability, family-life balance, parenthood, gender equality and diversity ð1⁄4. Mental-health support ð§ + two paid "disconnect days" a year. Up to 70% employee discount (family & friends too). Creative office in Barcelona + home-office setup. Growth & learning support and monthly after-work events. Ready for the challenge? About ALOHAS Our website: and IG:@alohas #J-18808-Ljbffr
