About the Role This role involves ensuring culinary excellence, translating the customer’s vision into consistent inflight experiences worldwide, and building strong, trust-based customer relationships. Responsibilities Co-develop and implement food philosophies and standards with the customer. Collaborate with regional and unit chefs to ensure clear communication and execution. Identify and secure raw material suppliers, including non-standard sources if needed. Integrate menu requirements seamlessly into production environments. Serve as the main culinary point of contact for the customer. Ensure accurate documentation of recipes, specifications, and images for pricing. Monitor performance based on agreed KPIs (e.g. quality, margin, satisfaction). Travel for audits, trainings, route inspections, and continuous improvement. Lead culinary aspects of customer presentations and tenders. Actively contribute to account growth and retention as part of the global team. Participate in the Global Culinary Board Meetings to support development of Gategroup's culinary identity. Design and update menus reflecting the airline’s culinary identity to enhance the passenger experience. Analyze food and customer trends to produce data-driven menu and preparation reports. Represent both the customer and Gategroup at media events, launches, food fairs, and industry forums. Qualifications Associate's degree in Culinary Arts 3+ years of kitchen experience Experience in leading and supervising junior chefs Experience working within budget constraints Required Skills Strong culinary skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure Preferred Skills Experience in the airline catering industry Knowledge of food safety regulations Pay range and compensation package Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
