SHG operates over 81 venues in 26 countries with a commitment to deliver authentic and diverse hospitality experiences that bring people together, all around the world.We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team at our greek restaurant, Ammos Greek, located in our seasonal venue, METT Marbella-Estepona.Main responsabilities:The Chef de cuisine will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, creativity, and consistency, while leading and inspiring the culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the gastronomic identity of a dynamic and growing restaurant.Controls kitchen costs to ensure that the restaurant meets budget and increase profitabilityControls kitchen maintenance, repairs and other related expensesMonitors ordering and receiving food products and other supplies as required for daily operations Observes compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, as well as, governmental laws and regulationsSupervises and takes part in the preparation and production of all food productsInspects all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standardsInspects products quality during and after preparation, and makes adjustments as requiredEnsures that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working conditions through personal inspection and by following the stores preventive maintenance programsMeets customer requirements in terms of special requests and dietary needsManages the kitchen staff through coaching and training, in order to improve Qualifications:Previous Experience as Chef de cuisine in a premium/ fine dining environment in hotels, resorts or standalone restaurants.Deep knowledge and previous experience with Greek or mediterranean cuisine, with the ability to innovate while respecting tradition.Fluent in Spanish; English is desirableStrong leadership and team management skills.High standards in food presentation, hygiene, and quality control.Excellent organizational and communication abilities.Benefits:Competitive Salary.Seasonal role (contrato fijo-discontinuo)Discounts Across Sunset's Venues and More: Experience the Sunset lifestyle to the fullest with exclusive discounts at all our venues and beyond.Career Growth Opportunities: Your professional journey is our priority.
