Call for Expression of Interest – ICREA Research Professors 2026
Bioengineering Institute of Technology (BIT), Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) The Bioengineering Institute of Technology (BIT) at UIC is seeking outstanding researchers to prepare a joint application to the ICREA Research Professors 2026 Call.
We invite Expressions of Interest from internationally recognised researchers in Life & Medical Sciences, with strong profiles in:
Regenerative Medicine
Advanced 3D Models
Biosensors
Medical Devices
Candidates should hold a PhD or MD‑PhD, demonstrate leadership in translational or bioengineering research, and show potential for strong collaboration with existing BIT UIC research groups.
BIT‑UIC commits to supporting the selected candidate in the ICREA call, offering start‑up funding, research space, access to core facilities, and administrative support.
The ICREA Research Professors 2026 Call offers permanent (tenure‑equivalent) positions in the Catalan research system and closes on March 3, 2026.
