What you will be doing In this role, you will help design and strengthen Ricoh’s global data architecture, working closely with international teams to deliver solutions that contribute to strategic decision‑making. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing backend SQL solutions (ETL/SSIS) to support global Power BI reporting. Creating Power Apps and user-friendly interfaces that enable efficient data management. Enhancing and expanding the data infrastructure by integrating new architectures and data sources. Ensuring robust data governance, security, and compliance with GDPR. Supporting continuous improvement through the development of global KPIs and data quality processes. Documenting technical processes and creating clear BI documentation for internal use. Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders across regions to ensure solutions align with strategic priorities. You will ideally have This role is based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, though we are open to considering candidates based elsewhere in Spain. We are seeking someone with a strong technical foundation and the ability to design and deliver data-driven solutions in a complex, multicultural, and innovation-driven environment. We value: A relevant academic background (Computer Science, Data Engineering, or similar). A bachelor’s degree is desirable. 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Solid understanding of data architecture and data modelling principles within modern data platforms. Experience working with Microsoft Fabric and related data services within the Microsoft ecosystem. Strong SQL skills and experience working with data transformation, modelling and analytical use cases. Practical experience with Python for data processing and automation. Proven experience with Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), including building solutions integrated with Dataverse and other data sources. Experience designing and delivering end-to-end data and application solutions. Experience building business-oriented tools for reporting and dashboards. Exposure to Copilot Studio and an interest in developing intelligent, data-driven applications. Experience in machine learning or advanced analytics (an advantage). Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Azure) and experience using GitHub for version control (highly desirable). In addition, you bring a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent organisational and time management abilities. You are adaptable and comfortable working in a global environment, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach, a customer-focused mindset, and a proactive attitude.
