Role And Responsibilities
Samsung Ads (part of ESBO - European Service Business Organization) is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and determining new opportunities on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs. The EU advertising team is working to create value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into content consumption in the shifting media landscape.
Your Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with high‑potential advertisers, presenting Samsung’s cutting‑edge marketing solutions to senior executives at major brands and their agencies.
Develop sales pipelines and a long‑term strategy by uncovering the business needs of key clients.
Collaborate with the account management team to create a world‑class brand‑building solution for advertisers and ensure our clients achieve their advertising goals.
Initiate, structure, and negotiate high‑impact partnerships with Spanish advertisers and agencies mainly for Spanish territory campaigns but also for international clients based in Spain.
Build, prioritise, manage, and communicate an active pipeline of brands.
Leverage communication and relationship‑building skills to develop new business.
Educate new advertisers on the benefits of advanced TV and persuade them to shift their marketing strategies from traditional media to digital/advanced TV.
Analyse proprietary Samsung TV data to create compelling sales insights that drive revenue outcomes.
Thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and have an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership in creating opportunities.
Skills And Qualifications
Outstanding multi‑tasking and teamwork capabilities.
English is a must – at least a good level of English.
5‑10 years of experience in full‑lifecycle sales at a media‑owner or media‑agency with experience in TV advertising, digital media, and advertising platforms.
Strong network and previous experience within automotive and tourism/travel verticals is a strong asset.
Specific CTV experience will be valued.
Strong advertisers and agencies network.
Experience building a book of business and managing against quotas.
Understanding of TV digital media and the online and TV advertising industry.
Independent, self‑starter; comfortable with ambiguity and resilient; thrives in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to provide comprehensive advertising solutions to prospective clients.
BA/BS required.
