_Summary_Well established and privately-owned Financial services Consulting Firm headquartered in the USA with offices in Europe and servicing US multinational companies is looking for a controlling accountant to join its financial services team located in Barcelona.- Responsibilities & Duties_Responsibilities and duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:- Part of a 3-4 person team performing the finance/accounting section, including ensuringproper development of junior staff- Completion of SOX activities to ensure compliance with group governance and whereinteracting with the group internal audit team.- Timely reporting of monthly reporting, including preparing and analyzing monthly financialstatements- Ensuring that all month end general ledger postings are made on a timely basis.- Ensuring that all month end group reporting postings are made on a timely basis.- Reconciliation of industry specific critical accounts.- Ensuring good interaction with other departments in the organization and the other workstreams.- Overseeing relationship with tax advisors and statutory and group auditors.- Strongly Preferred: SAP knowledge- Preferred: IFRS knowledge- Preferred: Italian and US GAAP knowledge- Qualifications/Requirements_- SAP experience in the FI modules - Accounts Receivable is highly preferred.- Travelling availability (post-pandemic)- Language skills - required Czech- Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint andWord- Effective and excellent written and verbal communication skills providing for timely andprofessional communication with internal and external stakeholders- Must be organized, assertive and have the ability to complete projects according toscheduledtimelines- Work Location_Barcelona, Spain**Salary**: 26,000.00€ - 36,000.00€ per monthWork Remotely:- No
